New Officers Elected
Those members in attendance elected a new slate of officers for the coming year. Topping the list is Frank Marro, M.D., who was elected president of the Delaware Beekeepers Association. Marro served previously as secretary/treasurer. Dick Goerger was elected to fill the secretary/treasurer position and will be assisted by his wife, Debbie.
In New Castle County, Bill Leitzinger remained as vice-president for that chapter and in Kent County, Bob Volkomer was elected vice-president.
In Sussex County, members elected Paula Dardaris vice-president.
Each will serve a one-year term until the next annual meeting in March 2010.
